About us

Paragon schools, Benin City presently consist of two (2) secondary and two 92) nursery/primary sections. It is a private co-educational institution established to complement government effort at providing affordable quality education.

Paragon schools which has blossomed into an enviable edifice like the proverbial mustard seed, took off in 1990 with paragon nursery/primary school and paragon comprehensive collage 9day only) an idea that was conceived, hatched by a humble man of vision Mr. martins owa .A. osakue. In January 2002, paragon Demonstration schools (Day boarching) also commenced activities for nursery primary and secondary education.
Paragon schools have been fully accredited and approved by the Edo state Ministry of Education the West Africa Examinations council (WAEC) and the National Examinations council (NECO) to present candidates for the primary first school learning certificate, junior secondary school certificate and the senior secondary certificate respectively.

THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL
Paragon Schools is established with the aim of preparing our young ones for:
(1) Useful living within the society and
(2) Higher education

In specific terms, the school should:-
(a) Provide pupils from the primary system with high quality education irrespective of sex, social or irreligious and ethnic background.
(b) Equip students to live effectively in our modern age of science and technology.
(c) Raise a generation of people who can think for themselves, respect he views and feelings of others respect the dignity of labour and live as good citizens.
(d) Inspire students with a desire for achievement and self –improvement both at school and in later life.
