BRIEF HISTORY OF
ECLOS SCHOOLS

Eclos Nursery and Primary School was established on the 18th of September, 2006 at the present site, 29A Silifat Abioye street, Oke-Ira, Ogba, Lagos State of Nigeria, by Barrister and Mrs Elofuke (Proprietors). The Nursery and Primary School was duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, Nigeria and subsequently approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Education on 22nd July, 2008. On the opening date, that is, 18th of September, 2006 five children (three girls and two boys) were registered in the foundation class and lessons commenced the following day. Within the first month of the life of the school, fifteen children were registered. Subsequently, the School Management Board initially employed five qualified holders of Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) as class teachers.

By the special grace of God, the school developed and grew steadily in population over the years. In September, 2012 the Eclos College was established with thirteen students in the Junior Secondary School (JSS1). The College was formally approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Education in September, 2015. At the time of approval, the college had a Principal, a Vice Principal and ten qualified graduate subject teachers. The college enrolled thirty seven students for the May/June, 2015 West African Examination Council (WAEC) examination for the first time and the results were successful. Subsequent WAEC examination results have been very successful with a steady increase in entrants to the glory of God.
