About us

GREAT EMMANUEL SECONDARY SCHOOL started in the year 2006 at the Enyadulogu Community Town Hall, but later relocated to its permanent site in the year 2007.
In the same year, 2007, the School got the approval of the Ebonyi State Ministry of Education, and subsequently, the approval of the WAEC and NECO in the year,2010.

LOCATION: GREAT EMMANUEL SECONDARY SCHOOL is located at Enyadulogu, Agalegu, in Ishieke Community, in Ebonyi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
Enyadulogu, which is a serene environment conducive for teaching and learning, is devoid of any form of distraction.
Enyadulogu is about 1Km off Onunwambara Junction, along the Old Abakaliki-Enugu Road. Onunwambara Junction itself, is a few poles from Mile Four Hospital, and about 1.2Km away from the Ishieke Campus​ of the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. The people of Enyadulogu are Peace-loving, accommodating and God-fearing. Most importantly, the area is highly secured 24/7 all through the year.

MOTTO/VISION: Our Motto, "Liberation Through Education" -- encapsulates the vision of the School, which is to liberate, not only the hosting Community, or Ebonyi State, but the generality of mankind from the shackles of ignorance, resulting from illiteracy.
This Vision has since the establishment of this School in 2007, been resolutely pursued with singleness of mind.

MISSION: To build a People-friendly, qualitative and Competitive School with facilities and requisite manpower aimed at elevating the literacy level of the host Community and its environs.
As the first Secondary School in the area, it is established essentially, to address the daunting challenges of absence of Secondary School in that area and its immediate environs, which at the time were in dire need of a School with the capacity to lead them out of the Educational doldrums they were drenched in.
