Nana Aisha Memorial Islamiyya School, Gombe was established on 20th September, 2004. The School is founded by HAJIA HAMAMATU MOHAMMAD ABUBAKAR. It was established to meet the needs of most parents in the locality for the much needed Islamiyya culture and education for their children/wards as well as acquire good western education to meet the requirement of the national policy. There was an initial take up of 26 Nursery 1 and 10 Nursery 2 pupils and 16 pupils primary 1. The founding Headmaster was Mallam Ibrahim Tinau Haruna. He was assisted by 4 teaching staff, 5 non teaching staff, including clerical staff, drivers and nannies. Over the years the school has grown tremendously. It has graduated five (5) sets of primary six pupils, most of whom are absorbed into the school's Junior Secondary School and eventually into the Senior Secondary School. It is rewarding to note the performance of Mohammad Inuwa and Samira Aliyu Dala two of our pupils in the entrance examination into the Nigerian Turkish International School who gained admission into the school through they refuse the offer. Today, the school has curved out the Nursery Section and has Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu as the Head of Nursery. There are 69 pupils, three teaching staff to assist the head as well as two nannies. The primary school pupils populations is now 324 and there are 23 teaching staff shared the Secondary school as well. Mallam Ibrahim Tinau Haruna is still the Headmaster of the Primary Section, with Mallam Hamma Adamu as a Principal and Mrs. Arubayi Monsurat as Head of Nursery. The school graduated it first set of SS3 2016.
