HISTORY.
UNITY MONTESSORI NURSERY/PRIMARY SCHOOL commenced on the 4thOctober, 1999 with the vision:

To foster unity through education

To provide a conducive teaching and learning environment for pupils and teachers;

To mould character of tomorrow's leaders;

To build up academic competence of pupils to the challenges of the contemporary society;

The proprietress having served as a teacher and an Inspector with Lagos State Teaching Service Commission for ten years, see this as an opportunity to bring in her wealth of experience in building a school of excellence parallel to none.

The initial vision was to have a secondary school, but after due consultation we were advised to begin from the "very beginning" hence the Unity Montessori Nursery/Primary School was started on October 4, 1999.

The take off population of 6 pupils, 5 teachers and 3 non – teaching staff was not enough to discourage us, it however propelled to work harder being convinced of the vision. This has a positive effect upon the school because by the second academic session (2000/2001) the school enrollment rose astronomically to 287. Since then we have been running the institution, non-stop.

Our pupils' Common Entrance Result have been 100% since inception with the average rising each year. Our pupils are all over the federation doing excellently well in various secondary schools because of the sound foundation they have acquired at Unity Montessori Nursery/Primary School.

This realization brought back to us the initial idea of having a secondary school. Hence the process of establishing one was set in motion. Our Secondary School, UNITY HIGH SCHOOL was established on 15 September, 2003 to the Glory of God.
ABOUT US.
UNITY MONTESSORI NURSERY/PRIMARY SCHOOL is an educational platform for preschool children in Kubwa, Abuja. We strive to provide high standards of Montessori education that can bring out the intellectual excellence of a curious and inquisitive mind of a toddler.

We concentrate not only on formal way of education but also on day to day life challenges and manners. The little babies are taught to be good human beings and to be able to make a difference to their homes and environments through courtesy, honesty, responsibility and forgiveness.

The UNITY HIGH SCHOOL Students are learning confidently in a loving and compassionate environment within school and they carry love with them to their homes. The power of bringing a change is not in the hands of the big and strong, only these youngsters can become honest leaders.

To complement this holistic approach, we groom the parents as well to provide the children with a compatible environment at home.
