About us

Mafindi Academy Jalingo is one of the schools founded out of necessity. The proprietor at that time discovered that many children that were supposed to be in schools were on the street wasting their talents and lives. He decided to establish an affordable school for such students. God saw his good intention and supported him to make this dream a reality. The school started free for orphans(maintained till date). Over time parents are convinced about the total transformation and performance of these forgotten children and wish to enrol their children. So they were made to be paying just a token.
Mafindi today has been standardised with everything upgraded and updated. Despite the standard, hundreds of students in the school today are still schooling free with others paying infinitesimal amount compared to the provisions on ground.

The vision is then clear, to contribute positively to the development of the future, to ensure giving a realiable hope to the hopeless.

And our mission; intensifying eradication of poverty and illetracy from the foundation environment with the view to making it broader.
