About us

Gleaming Moon School (GMS) was born out of a divine mandate to shine like a moon to all children available to us, in the face of falling educational standards. Our vision is to raise children and bring out their best potentials, making them confident, dependable and independent. We strive to produce children who will match international standards and shine like stars wherever they are.

Run by a British trained educationist who is registered with the General Teaching Council of England (GTC), we offer a British curriculum, which is tailored to meet with our local Nigerian context, and as such we adopt a range of British educational policies, like the "Every Child Matters" policy, which makes us to value every individual child. As a result we have 15 pupils per class to enable a one-on-one teacher-pupil interaction.

We have a link with Irvinestown School Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, UK. Through this link, we are able to update our curriculum and teaching methods to meet a range of UK teaching styles.

We are committed to the employment of teachers who have the passion, willingness and commitment to learning. Hence we organize training and workshops for our staff to ensure efficiency and quality in the education we deliver.
