BRIEF HISTORY - Bright Hope Schools has been in operation for over two decades in the business of providing qualitative education to pupils at primary school level. Pupils from our school perform excellently in both State and National Entrance Examinations and gain entry into both Federal Government Colleges and Model Colleges across the country.
The apparent track record of success achieved by our Primary School and our desire to continuously provide qualitative and affordable education necessitated our decision to establish Brighter Hope Comprehensive High school which has ultra-modern structures and educational facilities comparable to Federal Government Colleges and other notable colleges across the country.
Brighter Hope Schools is government approved and accredited by West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) examination bodies. It is also a co-educational and day school.

CURRICULUM - The school operates the national curriculum as enunciated by the policy on education which provides for the 3 years JUNIOR SECONDARY education (JSS1 - 3); this is then followed by 3 years SENIOR SECONDARY education (SSS1 -3).
The school offers the following subjects for Junior Secondary School level which are divided into 13 core subjects (compulsory subjects for all students), 7 pre-vocational subjects and 2 non-vocational elective subjects;
(a) Core Subjects
Mathematics, English language, Social studies, Integrated science, Art and Music, Christian religious studies, Islamic religious knowledge, Igbo language, Yoruba language, Hausa language, Agricultural science, Physical education, and Computer Studies.
(b) Pre-vocational Subjects Introductory technology, Home economics, Business studies, Carpentry and wood work, Catering, Local crafts, and Electronics.
(c) Non-vocational elective Subjects
French and Arabic.
*All students must offer all core subjects including one Nigerian language (Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa) and at least two pre-vocational subjects.
Subjects offered at the Senior Secondary School level are divided into Core and Elective Subjects;
(a) Core Subjects
English language, Civic education, Mathematics, one of alternative Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry or Biology), one of alternative Humanities subjects (Literature in English, History or Geography), and Agricultural science or any vocational subject.
(b) Elective Subjects
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature in English, History, Geography, Agricultural science, Further mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Government, Book-keeping, Typewriting, Computer studies, Yoruba, French, Christian religious knowledge, Islamic religious knowledge, Art, Physical education, Cultural and creative art, Trade subjects – Data processing, Store keeping, Office management, and Marketing.
*All students must offer all 6 core subjects and in addition select any other 3 subjects or more under the electives depending on their choice of career up to the end of the second year of the senior secondary course and may drop one of the elective subjects in the last year.
